Fridge magnet - portraits

£2.50

Brighten up your fridge with portraits of historical figures from the RCP.

King Henry VIII established the College of Physicians in 1518, having been lobbied by his own physician, Thomas Linacre. This painting is based on the popular Hans Holbein portrait and probably dates from the 16th century.

William Harvey is the most celebrated of all fellows of the RCP. This portrait was rescued from the College’s second home, Amen Corner during the Great Fire of London.
