Pack of eight blank cards and envelopes depicting details taken from items in the RCP archives.

Gathered over the last 400 years, the RCP silver collection commemorates events in RCP history as well as the lives an generosity of fellows and members. Card one is a detail from the silver standing cup presented to the RC{ in 1945 in memory of Bertrand Edward, Viscount Dawson of Penn (1864-1945) who was president of the BMA, RSM and RCP. Card two shows the standing figure of Henry VIII from the fellows standing cup and cover made by Stephen Smith in 1872.

The Baron Munchausen cards feature an illustration from Rudolph Erich Raspe's satire, The surprising adventures of Baron Munchausen. The Baron uses a hot air balloon to suspend the College of Physicians in midair for three months. No lives are lost due to the extravagant feast they had prepared.
